ACCEPTANCE IS THE KEY

Sometimes, it is too late by the time we seek help. What could have been achieved earlier with a little bit of assistance from a life coach, now happens a little later with a lot of assistance of the life coach. Nothing bad in it; however, you held on to the issue longer than required causing emotional turbulence to yourself.
We all want to move out of the emotional turbulence, declutter our thoughts and move towards a calm and composed frame of mind. So, what holds you back? Is it the belief that you are strong enough to sort it out without any assistance? Or do you wonder whether the life coach will judge you for your thoughts? Or what will other people think of you? Or when I find the right time, I will actively search for a life coach…..
Let me answer those questions. I agree that most of us are strong enough to assess our emotional baggage clinically and find a way forward. It will happen but may take a long time to hit on the solution. Imagine a lady trying to place a bindi on her forehead without a mirror. She may need many attempts before she finally places it correctly. Even then a mirror will be required to confirm that it has been placed correctly. A life coach acts as the mirror; sooner you use her services the better it is.
A life coach is trained not to be judgemental. Any conversation is kept confidential. All she will do is hold a mirror to your thoughts, help you sieve through the clutter and facilitate forward movement.
What will other people think of you if you seek assistance? You have no control over other people’s thoughts. But you have control over your own thoughts. Decide where you wish to place priority.
For any action, the right time is now. Please do not wait for the right time to make an announcement and come into your life. Do not use other people/events as excuses for your unwillingness to take any action.
To get started, acknowledgement of the issue is the first step. This is followed by acceptance of the same. Once you accept that you need the assistance of a life coach and begin your sessions, you will find yourself on a new track. Life coaches do not create miracles. You will create the miracle. Have patience to sit through four sessions to transform into a better version of yourself. Your commitment to change will hasten the process. Even the pretty butterfly undergoes a painful process before it transforms from a larva to a butterfly.
Commit yourself to being a better version of yourself. You deserve it.
